Wizz Air, the Hungarian low-cost carrier, has established a new base in Ukraine, at Kiev’s Boryspil Airport. As such, Wizz Air is opening a new chapter in Ukraine’s aviation history, by becoming the first discount carrier to operate in this former Soviet republic.  The Kiev to Odessa route will be served by seven flights per week. Those interested in reserving tickets ahead of time for these routes may do so as of today, at www.wizzair.com. All of the routes will be served by new Airbus A320 aircraft and each will include 180 comfortable, leather seats.  The flights start in July and having checked the prices, surprisingly round trip from Kiev to Odessa in July runs only about $75 or $38 for one way ticket.

Odessa is a resort city with majority of tourism taking place from June through August.  As such, prices for accommodations for both apartments and hotels all increase.  While we still guarantee our prices to be the lowest, please do note that almost all summer prices will be updated in the middle of may to reflect the approximate 10%-20% seasonal increase.  In any event, when the summer price is not yet displayed, we always notify our clients about it in our invoice letter.
